Although Ngok Fei
was brutally murdered, his troops
wandered throughout China and continued
practicing the “108 Locking
Hands”. The system survived
and found its way back to the Sil
Lum Monastery. At the monastery,
sometime during the Ming Dynsaty
(1368-1644), a monk named
Lai Chin, a famous master of the
Faan Tzi system of kung fu, combined
his style with the ‘Ying
Sao’ techniques. Faan
Tzi was well known for its high
kicks and intricate legwork, and
when this combination was successfully
completed, Faan Tzi Ying Jow Pai
was created. This system is now
know as Ying Jow Pai, The Eagle
Claw System.
