Orlando Results- Sandro Salvo Takes the GOLD! Coming back from a standing 8 count, Alessandro Salvo won the gold medal in San Shou in a spectacular three round bout. Nathaniel Hoffman takes Bronze! In his first tournament and overcoming nerves and uncertainty, Nathaniel put in his best performance ever to take the bronze in forms. We expect him to only get better! Our other competitors, while not winning medals, all put out tremendous efforts and were pleased with their performances. We will have a much larger number of competitors representing us next year!

Anniversary Demonstration- Our 7th Anninversary Demonstration got off to a wet start as it was supposed to be held outdoors in the rotunda in front of the school. The rain forced a delay and the final move to hold the event indoors. This, of course, inhibited our fundraising opportunities. We did manage to raise $1,300. The demonstration was, however, a fun event. We had a two guest performers, Miriam Holland and her Mei Zhong Tai Chi Chuan Assoc and Sifu Mark Warner and his My Jong Law Horn students.Our school had several first time performers who, after the inital jitters, were more than up to the cause! Much fun was had by all and we look forward to our next demonstration!

Brazilian Capoeira NOW at Eagle Claw Kung Fu Center! We now offer classes in Brazilian Capoeira- The dance martial art from Brazil. Capoeira Maculele Taught by Professor Marcinho. Classes are Wednedays 9:00-10:30pm, Saturdays 4:00-6:00pm, Sundays 1:30-3:30pm. Call for more information.

Chinese New Year Demostration celebrating the Year of the Dog- Saturday, January 28 at 1pm at Eagle Claw Kung Fu Center

The Brooklyn Shaolin Martial Arts Academy under the instruction of Master Julio Perez will open on Thursday, December 1. Master Perez is one of only 6 "Masters" under Grand Master Leung Shum. Grand Master Leung Shum's visit and seminars were a tremendous success. Gand Master Shum taught "Fighting Basics" and "Wu Tai Chi Chuan Psuh Hands". Master Rodriguez' training brother, Sifu Michael Aronson, and another associate, Kevin Boyd (an instructor under Master Jeff Bolt)also attended these intensive sessions.

6th Anniversary Fundraiser for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital TREMENDOUS SUCCESS! We were able to send St. Jude $2,300. This topped our 1st Year amount by over $500. We look forward to even more in 2006!

- The school was well reperesented in Orlando with over 15 students competing against some very strong competitors. Rachell Deel took homeTwo Gold Medlas for her efforts in her first tournament for fomrs.Ryan Kholsdorf won Gold for his sparring in his first tournament!
